These items were donated by the COL Rex Sjostrom (Ret) Family. The documents had previously been donated to COL Sjostrom by Henry D. Gregory. It is believed that this donation occurred during the time that COL Sjostrom was doing his initial research as part of the History Project.

Description:
This diary belonged to 1LT Henry D. Gregory (and later CPT Gregory). He began his daily entries shortly before returning to service in Europe during World War I. They begin on 31 JUL 1918, while he was at Camp Kearny, CA with the 115th Signal Battalion into which his unit, Company B, Signal Corps, Colorado National Guard, had been assigned and redesignated B Company, 115th Signal Battalion for the purposes of federal service. His entries continue through the end of July 1919, when he was discharged from federal service at Fort D.A. Russell, WY.
