Two postcards from the early 1900's / World War I era; one post card has a picture of the R.M.S Mauretania taken on Friday, April 7th, 1911; the Mauretania was used as a troop ship during WW I, and transported Amercian troops beginning in 1917; the second post card has a picture of Soldiers at camp during war training manuevers at Camp Kearny during training for deployment to Europe in World War I.

Items were donated to the Colorado National Guard by Georgia Beauchemin of Lynn Haven, FL. Items belonged to CPT John Finch, who served in the National Guard of Colorado beginning in 1901, as an enlisted Soldier. He served as Commander of Company E, 2nd Battalion, 157th Infantry (1st Colorado) during World War I. Died in 1932 as a Major.
